The Council

The Parish Council is the tier of local government closest to the community. It represents the interests of residents and works to improve the local area.

The Council is made up of elected and co-opted members who meet regularly to discuss parish matters, make decisions, and respond to issues raised by residents.

The Parish Council meets on a regular basis throughout the year. Agendas and minutes are published on the website and displayed on the village noticeboard.

Responsibilities

The Council is responsible for a range of local matters, including commenting on planning applications, maintaining certain village assets, supporting community initiatives, and managing parish finances.
